Writing about Kubernetes, Terraform, and the messy middle of cloud infrastructure.

Hi, I'm Hakan. I work as a DevOps Engineer, which mostly means I spend my days (and a few too many of my nights) making sure clusters, pipelines, and the things running on them behave themselves.

I'm drawn to Kubernetes, OpenShift, and automation in general — if a task is worth doing twice, it's worth turning into a pipeline, a Helm chart, or a small, well-behaved script. Most of my ideas get a trial run in my homelab first, where the stakes are low and the lessons tend to be the most useful ones.

This site is where I write down what I learn, usually a few weeks after I've worked through it. Expect posts on:

  • Running Kubernetes and OpenShift in production
  • Automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Homelab experiments and the lessons that come out of them
  • Observability, incident response, and on-call sanity
